EPAL pallets, also known as European Pallets, are standardized wooden pallets used for the transportation and storage of goods. These pallets are manufactured according to the specifications set by the European Pallet Association (EPAL), ensuring consistency and compatibility across different industries.
EPAL pallets are constructed using high-quality timber, typically made from softwood such as pine or spruce. The dimensions of EPAL pallets are standardized at 1200mm x 800mm, making them suitable for various applications in logistics and supply chain management.
These pallets feature a sturdy design with multiple top and bottom deck boards, along with blocks or stringers that provide structural support. The boards are evenly spaced to allow for easy handling using forklifts or pallet jacks. EPAL pallets also have chamfered edges to prevent damage to goods and facilitate smooth loading and unloading.
